Rooted in Eastern modalities of health and healing, Karishma’s practice emphasizes the deep interplay between mind and body. She weaves these integrative traditions together with evidence-based frameworks including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide and train supervisees at CIP.
She also serves as an educator at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, teaching courses on Fundamentals of Behavioral Therapy: Contemporary Approaches and Contextually Focused Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
